Julia's Visit - Day 4

I had an important meeting at work on Tuesday, so I spent most of the day in the office. For the girls, this was the day to get in their rental car and explore the island. More specifically - look for filming sets for the TV show "Lost".

They found several locations and were able to get up close to take pictures (this is the residence of Sawyer - a hot character on the show). They followed this by driving around the island looking at the sights.

My meeting finished in time for me to make it home before setting out to downtown Waikiki for dinner on the beach at Duke's. The girls were all ready and dressed for a night in town!

Isn't this a classic picture? Three beautiful girls with a tropical drink (Lava Flow) in hand in Waikiki!

None of the girls were fish-eaters, but DeAnna and I encouraged them to try some fish for dinner. After all, if you can't get good fish at a swanky restaurant on Waikiki Beach, you can't get it anywhere! So here's proof that Julia ate (and finished) a fish dinner!

After dinner, we walked the beach for a while and asked about surfing lessons before watching a hula demonstration. We got a few pictures of the beautiful sunset (something we don't see on the windward side where we live) and then walked through the Waikiki night scene of shops and people.

The last stop of the evening was mugging for the live webcam on the beach. It's kind of fun to show people you know that you're actually standing on a beach in Hawaii!

We all wanted to turn in a little early because the next day was our early morning trip to Pearl Harbor! After reviewing the pictures and movies for the day, we hit the sack!
